My series 2 Tivo just died!!! i was getting over heating messages and unplugged it to restart it and it was going ok, UNTIL i put it in standby mode and unplugged the unit to check the fans.
The fans stopped working so i figured thats what was causing the over heating messages, but now the tivo wont power up.
Can it be that the Power supply died? or is the whole unit dead?
but the main question is the lay out of the Dual Tuner over the standard older series 2.
i have twinbreeze upgrade bracket and i was wondering if i needed a new one to use for the DT or can i use the existing one? i would need to replace the fan on the twinbreeze since that once seems to have crapped out as well.
