hard drive from one samsung receiver to another

I recently upgraded my wifes Samsung w/TIVO to a larger capacity hard drive from Weaknees. Since then she dropped the receiver and broke out the coax connector from the motherboard. I have purchased a used Samsung receiver the same model as hers and wondered if I can put the hard drive from her unit into the new unit since it has more capacity.

Yes. After the move choose "clear and delete everything" from the System Reset menu.
