My Tivo(tcd649080) hard drive started making a "beeping" noise tonight. I think the hard drive(WD800BB) is gone. Anyone know how I can get the software to put it on another hard drive? I have done this before on my TCD540040 tivo, but the hard drive still worked on that one. Will the software from the TCD540040 work on my TCD649080?

Nope - the 540 software won't run the 649 unit.
