DRT800 - Recent WK Upgrade, Now DVD Burner doesn't work

Hello all,

Recently upgraded with a WK drive for my Humax DRT800. DVD burner worked without issue before the upgrade, now I am getting a string of failures when I try and burn? Has anyone seen this before? Thanks

Changing your drive will have no impact on your DVD burner. What errors are you getting, and are you sure it's not a bad batch of DVDs?

After going through the entire recorded process, the error shown is "Failed". The DVD plays DVD's just fine, but fails every time I try and record. DVD's from this same spindle have worked without issue, so I don't think it is a bad batch. There was no issue with this prior to the upgrade.

You could try your old drive to see for sure.

Most likely, just the installation of the new drive jarred something inside the burner that caused it to fail. We have replacement burners.

Been here a long time . . .
