This is so frustrating. We have a series 1 TiVo with the lifetime subscription and I love it. I'm not ready to give it up and don't want to pay a ton of money to replace it yet.
I purchased the WeaKnees modem that is supposed to be a fix for this problem, tried and true for Vonage but not working for me. I have the cords hooked up correctly. I have made sure the phone line is working. The lights are coming on fine. I have listened while TiVo tries to connect. I have tried all 8 phone #s in our area for dialing into Tivo, I have remebered to ender the commas. The instructions for Vonage say to reduce the speed of the Vonage service but I do not have access to T-Moble to do that, adjust the speed per second.
Any fixes left to try? Can I return the modem if we cannot get this to work?
