I bought a used but supposedly perfect condition series II TIVO (TCD240004A). However, the hard drive continually makes a rattling noise over and above the constant fan noise. My other Tivo (DirecTivo) and a 1st generation ReplayTV only make this same rattling noise when recording something while simultaneously watching a previously recorded program.

Does this sound like the hard drive is near failure? Is there anything I can do to reduce this? With the way it is, my wife won't let me keep it in the bedroom (the reason I bought it in the first place).
