Some time ago, I added an additional drive from Weaknees to my Direct TV Tivo and it worked great. Lately, I've been having problems with corrupted recordings and the Tivo going to the green screen of Severe Error. So, I ordered a new master drive.

Unfortunately, when I put the new drive in, I get nothing. No lights on the front, no boot up sounds, no picture, nada. I've tried it with and without the slave drive plugged in. When I plug the original drive back in, it works.

Could my new drive be dead?
