Starting with a blank drive

My Series 2 Tivo 540040 has had the hard drive die so there is no backup file
I would like to install an 80GB Seagate. What do I have to do to start from scratch like this???

There really isn't much you can do without the TiVo software. You might find this service useful, however:

Load TiVo Software on Hard Drive

Bummer.. but I kinda was guessing there was not "start fresh" option

The original drive had overheated, it now is accessible so I will try a copy
