Tivo HD hard drive in Series 2 box?

I recently bought a Tivo HD box and upgraded the hard drive to a higher capacity drive from Weaknees.

I now have the 160 GB hard drive that shipped with the HD box and I'm wondering if I can use that drive to upgrade the capacity in my Series 2 box (currently an 80 GB drive)?

Nope - the TiVo HD uses a SATA type of drive, and older TiVos use PATA drives, so there's really no way to use it in an older unit.

Been here a long time . . .

Oh well, at least I have a realiable back up drive with < 100 hours on it.
