240/540 HD Swap

Hi all,
Longtime lurker here. I have a WeaKnees 160 gb replacement HD for a 24004A. (SG DB35) Will this drive work as a replacement in a 540040? If not, what do I need to do? (The 540 is fully operational, now.) Thanks for the help!

Unfortunately not; a 24004a drive can't work in a 540040. You'd need to have the drive reprogrammed. If you'd like our help, just contact us.

Thanks again, I'll send 'er down for the reprog. I don't think I'm up to doing it myself.
