Upgrade question?

Can I take upgraded drives from a phillips series one, and move them to a series two tivo? Are they compatible? I need help. Keebs

You'd need to reformat the drives. The S2 units use different versions of the OS.

Thanks for that WK. Is there somebody that does that, or am I better off buying pre formatted drives. One more question. Is the clicking or scratching noise I hear coming from the drives themselves, or something else?

We can do it, but if you have a noise like that coming from the drives, you should get a new drive:
