HUMAX T800 - Convert to DirecTv ?

I just bought a HUMAX T800 standalone TIVO with DVD recorder built in. I want to know if I can just swap out my DirecTv Tivo hard drive into my HUMAX ? If not, what can I do to make this HUMAX compatible for DirecTv?

There's no way to add a tuner to that unit really - the drive from your other unit just won't boot. But we'd recommend getting this tuner and having your Humax control it:

Also, if you have a DVD in there, your model number is probably DRT800.
