Series 2 DT 2nd tuner no working

I have a Series 2 DT and one of the tuners has just stop working. I have done a guide setup, restarts and checked all the connections and wiring and all are fine. Is there and thing else to check? and if not is this fixable or do I need to buy a new tivo?

Sounds like you might need a new TiVo.

Which tuner stopped working?

Been here a long time . . .

I do not know which one, some programs record fine, others will not as there is no signal. When I switch back and forth with the live tv button one has signal the other has a black screen and the record bar at the bottom show no recording.

I plan on buying a new one, is there any thing in the old one I show hold onto as a spare????

You can pull and re-use the hard drive in a PC if you want.
