What good is a HR10 without MPEG4?

I have a HR10 unit and am wondering what to do with it. I want to get the new MPEG4 HD DVR so what can I do with the HR10?

Well, it still gets all of the older HD channels, it gets the OTA HD channels (the HR21 doesn't) and it has TiVo. So it's got its virtues.
