I'm having trouble in that with a Tivo series 2 that is not responding to the remote anymore. Remote works on the TV (turning power on and off so IR signal is coming from it) but the usual yellow light on the front Tivo panel that comes on to signify that it is receiving the signal is not coming on. My thought is it is the IR receptor that has gone bad and that this could be an easy fix with the right parts? Any advise on that being the case and where to track down the needed part?
