Direct is run by regulated idiots..... No help whatsoever. Anyway, my Samsung 4080 DVR unit goes on, the "Power Up" screen cycles, then goes to the "Just a Few Minutes More" then goes blank.
It won't go to Direct Central, or for that matter, won't do anything. Weekness says "Hard Drive"..... Okay, but what about this idea.....
I have another unit, a Samsun 4120 that is fine. As Direct is very unhelpful on getting it online, can I take the hard drive out of it, and use it to replace the busted drive in my 4080?
