Sorry...I think my first post got deleted.

I have a Tivo series 2 since 2004. I added a Maxtor160 GB back in '04 and the original Tivo HD went bad this past May/June or so.

I added a new 500 GB seagate and ran it with the other new HD I added in 2004.

This weekend the Maxtor 160 went bad (was making a clicking sound) or at least I am assuming that it went bad.

I took the 160 out and tried running just the 500 GB HD without the 160 and it still says welcome... powering up.

Any thoughts on getting just the one 500GB to work.

Do I need to switch the jumper?
Does the 500BG get programmed as drive 2 once added and now won't boot up?

I am not really sure how to fix this.
