I have has this issue for 6 months now. Randomly, the screen freezes requiring a re-boot. Once rebotted, it works fine for a while. I use this unit in a spare bedroom, so it is not used daily.
I noticed today that not only is the screen locked and no TiVo controls will respond, but the clock on the unit is stopped at the time the unit froze.
Does this sound like a hard drive problem?
