I have a Humax 400 with DVD. It is brand new and is freezing (which is the reason I replaced my old one) intermittently, requiring a reboot. I have already added a UPS continual power supply in case the problem was a power surge/dip.

I am returning the unit on the chance that it is coincidently broken and having Weaknees repair it.

However,
1. Could the ethernet connection cause this. I have changed out the switch I use, but couldn't believe the net could cause this. Also, the unit does connect to the internet and download without freezeing.
2. Any other suggestions?
