I can't get to the welcome screen. installed new hard drive. same result. two lights come on, goes to red light breifly, then to orange, then out and just keeps up this cycle. same with both hard drives. checked power supply, its good. also tried kickstart routine. I have a humax drt800. any help will be greatly appreciated.

That's almost definitely a power supply problem. We have replacements here.

installed new hard drive and new power supply. if i disconnect power to dvd player i get welcome screen until machine is set up. tivo box says welcome but no video to tv. then tivo box says setup but no video to tv. remote seems to work fine but can't tell what is on screen. if i disconnect cable from motherboard to dvd player i get nothing. right now i have everything connected and running kick start to no avail.Comment
